Our July meeting is a little unusual in that we are showcasing the situation that younger Parkinson’s find themselves in.  While the condition is generally thought of as affecting the seniors among us there is a substantial group who can be as young as 20. They are in work, have mortgages and responsibilities. Some are even contemplating starting families. The challenge is to connect with them, raise awareness and give them the support they need. Phil Bungay, who in conjunction with Parkinson’s UK conducted a survey will talk to us about this small section of our community.  He will be accompanied by Luis Perpetuo, Head of Involvement at Parkinson’s UK.
