Rebecca Hadley, a PhD student from the University of Hertfordshire,  is looking for people with and without Parkinson’s to participate in a study that investigates energy expenditure whilst undertaking different types of activities. If you take part you will be asked to wear accelerometers, a heart rate monitor and some equipment that will measure your level of oxygen consumption.

To take part you will need to be able to walk unassisted for a period of nine minutes. You will also be asked not to drink anything with caffeine in it or have anything to eat for two hours before and during the session. But you won’t go hungry as a full lunch will be provided after the study. If you’re interested and would like further information, please contact Rebecca at r.hadley3@herts.ac.uk or call her on: 07805 699150.
