Charlotte Lawson, whose mother has Parkinson’s, set herself a challenge last year to ride around (safely outside) the M25 in one day in July.  She achieved this and raised over £2,000.  This year she decided to set herself another test: to ride her bicycle 5,000 miles between January and December and raise £2016.  She’s achieved the first target three months early and at the moment she is only a few hundred pounds off her financial goal.  This adds up to over £3,500 for the branch and Parkinson’s UK in just over a year.  And the pot is still growing as more supporters contribute.

She is determined to reach the magic sum as soon as possible.  She is a Senior Lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College, so if you find yourself invited to a cake sale in Brookman’s Park or a tea party in Camden Town it’s all in a good cause.
