Many of you will know Amelia Hall as the Doctoral student who was supervised in her studies by Dr Peter Lovatt at the university of Hertfordshire. She has worked with us on the Dance for Parkinson’s for the past three years and investigated the benefits of dance for people with Parkinson’s. She has also managed and run the Friday morning sessions at the university which have proved so popular, (Especially the amazing cakes which she bakes for the participants to enjoy with tea and coffee after their exertions.) The good news is that Amelia has had her viva (final face to face interview) and she has been awarded the Doctorate with a few minor corrections. Fantastic news and well done Amelia! She has also kindly agreed to sit on the committee, so we will still have the benefit of her experience and knowledge.
Great stuff Amelia!
