Local Support Groups
There are three local support groups operating within Parkinson’s UK West Herts Branch: Hemel Hempstead, St. Albans and Watford. Each is listed on this page.
Hemel Hempstead Social and Support Meetings
There is a Monday Morning Get Together and Activities Group in Hemel Hempstead. The group meets twice a month for coffee, refreshments, board games, indoor curling, Nintendo Wii and more. All are welcome: people with Parkinson’s, carers and friends and family.
Where: Gadebridge Community Centre, Galley Hill, Gadebridge, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 3LF (just next to the shops). Follow this link for a map.
When: 2nd and 4th Monday in the month 10.30am – 12.30pm.

St Albans Social and Support Meetings
These are usually held on the last Monday of the month but please check the dates for exceptions. Each month there will be a topic of interest, education or entertainment followed by time to exchange news, relax and chat over refreshments.
Any member of the Branch and any person with Parkinson’s and their friends or family will be very welcome.

When: Last Monday in the month (avoiding Bank Holidays), 1:45pm – 3:45pm.

Watford Social and Support Meetings
The Watford group has been meeting since summer 2015 and meets once a month for coffee, chat, information exchange, mutual support and fun activities!
All people with Parkinson’s, families, carers and friends are very welcome. This is a free event so please come and join us.
