Karen Elliott – Steps up to the mark
Note: This is a change to the previously advertised speaker.
As we get older, with or without Parkinsons, most of us lose mobility and functional movement. Our speaker this month has devoted the past 20 years to developing techniques to combat this deterioration with a range of fitness classes. Her cheerfully named Move Laugh Breathe promises to give us a new perspective on the benefits of exercising our laughter muscles.
Karen Elliott’s Move Laugh Breathe works on the principle that laughter is good for us. This class will help you to breathe better and laugh more, as you stretch and move your body; incorporating all the health benefits of laughter, deep breathing and mobility in one class. So we can look forward to fascial fitness movements, breathing exercises and techniques to improve health which can be adapted to a seated class making it available to all.
