Statement from Richard Windle:

“The votes are in and I came third. It was a strong field of candidates. The two who were elected were Mary Whyham, former Chairman of the North West Ambulance service who was awarded an MBE in 2003 for her work in the probation service and Tim Tamblyn, a retired accountant who sits on the boards of several voluntary organisations. He was appointed as an interim trustee last year. This doesn’t affect the work I do for the charity as Chair of the Research Support Network Development Team”

The West Herts Committee thought that Richard was an excellent candidate for a trustee role of Parkinson’s UK but as Richard has said, there was a very strong field.
