The Loud Crowd is a ‘Self Help’ speech group open to anyone with a speech difficulty linked to Parkinson’s; following an assessment by a Speech & Language Therapist. They will live in West Herts, and will want to get together with other ‘Loudies’ to practice and to support each other.
When the Loud Crowd started, it was only available to people who had completed an intensive course using the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) programme through the local NHS Speech and Language Therapy Service.
The Loud Crowd is now more varied, as people with speech difficulties due to Parkinson’s can ask to join following advice from a Speech Therapist. Supporting & motivating each other can bring plenty of fun and creativity into keeping up the practice.
This supportive group invites you to join them in the Loud Crowd.
People come from all over West Herts to get together on the
